The Discover the Kavango Zambezi - KAZA Tourism, Conservation, Safaris area across 5 countries of Angola, Bostwana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabweis hosting the 2019 edition of the Land Rover Experience Tour (LET). The 2019 expedition is being implemented through a partnership between Land Rover Germany and the KAZA Secretariat, with strong support from KAZA’s five Partner States – Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) Secretariat partnered with a wide range of organisations and stakeholders to host a ground-breaking media tour from 15-25 November 2018, as part of an initiative to profile the KAZA Transfrontier Conservation Area (TFCA) as a world-class tourism destination.

Kaza Carnivore Conservation Coalition

The Kaza Carnivore Conservation Coalition (KCCC), hosted a core working group members’ workshop in Livingstone, Zambia from 23rd – 25th May 2018.

A 15.5-million Euros funding commitment from the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Development Bank, KfW, was signed at a ceremony held at the Botswana Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism in Gaborone today.

KAZA TFCA Partner States are happy to announce the appointment of the Dr Nyambe Nyambe as the Executive Director of the KAZA TFCA Secretariat as from 16 April 2018.

“The State of KAZA Symposium 2016 was held as a celebration of KAZA’s 10 years of existence since signing the Memorandum of Understanding in December 2006 and provided a platform to showcase its achievements against set objectives as well as highlight key challenges and discuss priorities going forward.

The KAZA TFCA has identified Tourism as one of the key socio-economic pillars of the TFCA. However, one of the major constraints in facilitating cross-border tourism development is the requirement for tourists to obtain visas specific to each of the countries.
